Molecular Devices

The conversion of energy into controlled motion plays an important role in both man-made devices and biological devices. In contrast to macroscopic devices, the general principles and molecular processes of molecular devices are taking place within the nano-regime and are only poorly understood. We are exhibiting here a deliberate material collection from in- and outside of the BIOMACH-consortium reflecting some of the actual research trends on the field.
